Jun 02 2006 The forums are being re-opened for the 2006 hurricane season. Unfortuneatly not everyone will be able to make posts and replies (thanks to spammers). Those already registered will be added to the list of approved users, new users will need to be verified before they can make posts. Sorry, this is a family site about folks who have experienced enough misery and they don;t need to see idiot spammers pushing their porn and junk. Evil or Very Mad

No new posts Welcome Church Families
An area set aside for folks separated from their church families. This section is to reunite church members cast adrift by the winds of Katrina. In The Word we find: "And great multitudes came unto him, having with them those that were lame, blind, dumb, maimed, and many others, and cast them down at Jesus' feet; and he healed them: Insomuch that the multitude wondered, when they saw the dumb to speak, the maimed to be whole, the lame to walk, and the blind to see: and they glorified the God of Israel." Matthew 15:30-31

No new posts Churches & Ministries That Are Reaching Out
This forum is not about 'bragging rights' or pride but a place where churches and ministries can make known their objectives in reaching out to the people affected by Katrina. Many are the times when God places two ministries together in a common project who may have never known each other before Katrina. In my own hometown a church had supplies but no transportation, another had an airplane available but no supplies. You can guess Who put them together to get the supplies to where they were needed (and it wasn't this website).
